Thousands booked tropical Bahamas cruise and ended up in freezing Canada instead

Royal Caribbean rerouted the Oasis of the Seas to Halifax, Nova Scotia, after weather conditions forced a change to the ship's itinerary. The vessel was carrying over 5,000 passengers who had booked a cruise to the Bahamas. The ship arrived in Halifax instead of its originally scheduled Caribbean destination.
