X says top accounts steal videos from other users as it announces new video tools

Nikita Bier, X's head of product, stated on Monday that videos from top-performing accounts are often reposted from other users, with some videos shared years after their original posting. Videos comprise nearly half of all impressions on X, according to Bier. X announced new video tools in response to the issue.
