SHOCK POLL: Powerful blue state gov's lead shrinks to single digits weeks before election

Bruce Blakeman trails New York Governor Kathy Hochul by 9 percentage points, according to a Siena College poll released ahead of the election. The poll was conducted in a state where registered Democrats outnumber registered Republicans approximately two-to-one. Blakeman is the Nassau County executive and Republican nominee for governor.
