Mets’ Jared Young Has Concussion Symptoms, CT Scan Negative After Collision with Nolan McLean

Mets first baseman Jared Young was removed from Thursday night's game against Philadelphia after being struck in the head by pitcher Nolan McLean's knee while both players converged on a slow grounder by Justin Crawford. Young was carted off the field in the sixth inning. Young exhibited concussion symptoms following the collision, though a CT scan was negative. The Mets lost the game 3-0.
