California may gut state net neutrality law to comply with Trump admin demand

California state officials are considering modifying the state's net neutrality law in response to requirements attached to federal broadband grants from the Trump administration. The administration's broadband funding program prohibits states that receive grants from enforcing net neutrality rules. California has not yet decided whether to change its law or pursue alternative funding sources.
