Saudis Make Biggest Oil Price Cut in Decades as Market Weakens

Saudi Arabia reduced the price of its Arab Light crude grade for Asian customers in August by the largest margin in at least 26 years. The price cut occurred as global oil supply increased. Arab Light is Saudi Arabia's primary export crude grade to Asian markets.
