Rare cancer cases strike in California community as families demand answers

Six children in Ladera Ranch, California, have been diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a bone cancer. The California Department of Public Health initiated an epidemiological investigation into the cluster. Environmental testing was conducted in the community. Ewing sarcoma occurs in approximately 3 per million children annually in the United States.
