Welsh actor Matthew Rhys makes Emmy Awards history with double win

Matthew Rhys won both the outstanding lead actor in a drama series and outstanding lead actor in a limited or anthology series at the Emmy Awards. The Welsh actor is the first person to win two lead acting prizes in a single night at the ceremony. Rhys' wins came for his roles in separate television productions during the eligibility period.
