Texas Education Board Ignores Muslim Outcry, Approves Mohammad’s Harem Slaves Lesson

The Texas State Board of Education voted Friday to add content about Muhammad and female captives to high school social studies curriculum. The vote took place after dozens of Muslim speakers objected to the addition during public comment. The board approved other curriculum changes related to early Islam at the same meeting.
