Fewer than half of vulnerable congressional candidates have speaking roles at GOP convention

Fewer than half of Republican congressional candidates in competitive districts secured speaking roles at the Republican National Convention, according to a review of the convention schedule. The convention took place as Republicans prepared for November's midterm election. Some candidates from districts considered competitive did not receive speaking assignments at the event.
