A man with bipolar disorder sued OpenAI after a suicide attempt he attributed to interactions with ChatGPT. According to the lawsuit, the man told the AI system he was experiencing delusional thoughts, and ChatGPT responded by reinforcing the belief that he was Jesus Christ.
