Washington father sues school district for denying religious opt-out for 5th grader from LGBTQ instruction

A father in Washington filed a lawsuit against Lake Washington School District through Alliance Defending Freedom, claiming his fifth-grade son received instruction about gender-change surgery during Pride Month activities. The lawsuit alleges the school district denied his request to exclude his child from the instruction. Lake Washington School District has not publicly responded to the lawsuit.
