Pakistan Pledges to Honor Security Pact If Saudi Arabia Attacked

Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said any attack on Saudi Arabia would activate the Mecca Defense Alliance, under which aggression against one member is treated as an attack on all signatories. Asif did not specify what circumstances would trigger the alliance's response mechanisms. Pakistan is one of several nations party to the agreement.
