Second complete map of a fruit fly brain completed

Researchers completed a second full map of a fruit fly brain, documenting all neurons and their connections. The first complete connectome of a fruit fly brain was finished in 2020. Fruit fly brains contain approximately 3,000 neurons and 450,000 synaptic connections.
