OpenAI accused of ‘aiding and abetting’ Tumbler Ridge mass shooting in dozens of new lawsuits

OpenAI and CEO Sam Altman face 30 lawsuits filed Wednesday in California federal court. The suits allege the company provided "substantial assistance and encouragement" to a suspect in a shooting at Tumbler Ridge in Canada. The plaintiffs include students, teachers, and a principal from the affected school.
