Retired Port Authority officers tell Mamdani, Hochul to stay away from Ground Zero on 9/11

Retired Port Authority police officers called on New York State Senator Zohran Mamdani and Governor Kathy Hochul to not attend the 25th anniversary 9/11 commemoration at Ground Zero. The officers did not publicly state their reasons for the request. The commemoration is scheduled for September 11, 2026.
