The PGA Tour named Donald Trump as honorary chairman for the 2026 Presidents Cup at Medinah Country Club in Illinois. The White House confirmed the appointment. The Presidents Cup is a biennial golf competition between teams representing the United States and the rest of the world excluding Europe. Trump held the same role for the 2022 Presidents Cup at Quaker Ridge Club in New York.
