Three men found not guilty of Lyra McKee murder

Three men were acquitted of the murder of journalist Lyra McKee on February 27, 2025. McKee, 29, was killed by gunfire while covering civil unrest in Londonderry, Northern Ireland on April 2, 2019. The trial took place in Belfast. No additional charges were filed in connection with the case following the verdict.
