Fired Stars and Stripes staffers sue Pentagon, allege retaliation and First Amendment violation

Five former Stars and Stripes staff members filed a lawsuit against the Department of Defense alleging retaliation for reporting on the USS Abraham Lincoln and for First Amendment-protected speech. The lawsuit names Pentagon officials as defendants. Stars and Stripes is an independent news organization funded by the Department of Defense that reports on military and defense matters.
