WWII pilot missing after secret spy mission finally accounted for more than 80 years later

A Rhode Island airman missing since 1944 has been identified through forensic testing. The pilot disappeared during a World War II reconnaissance mission. The remains were analyzed using modern DNA and forensic methods. The identification was announced by the military.
