FBI asked 'Sammy the Bull' if ex-Gambino mob prosecutor Comey knew meaning of '86': court filing

The FBI interviewed Salvatore Gravano, known as "Sammy the Bull," who stated that James Comey "had to know" the term 86 referred to killing someone, according to a court filing. Comey has denied understanding the meaning of the term in his federal case. Gravano, a former underboss in the Gambino crime family, previously worked with Comey when Comey was a prosecutor.
