Rand Paul Sets Date to Vote to Hold Fauci in Contempt of Congress

Sen. Rand Paul, chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, announced that a vote has been scheduled to hold former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Anthony Fauci in contempt of Congress. Paul did not specify the date in his announcement. Contempt of Congress charges are typically pursued when a witness fails to comply with a subpoena or refuses to testify before a committee.
