Moderna Inc. began a Phase 1 trial of an experimental Ebola vaccine in human subjects. The trial is for a vaccine targeting the strain responsible for the current outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This marks the second Ebola vaccine candidate to enter clinical trials for this outbreak.
