Iran Demands Greater Control of Hormuz as Talks Resume

Iran stated it seeks greater control over maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz as talks resume in Qatar. The discussions are expected to address formal resolution of tensions between Iran and the United States. The Strait of Hormuz is a major shipping route through which a significant portion of global oil passes.
