Slok Says ECB May Hike Interest Rates Again in September

Torsten Slok, chief economist of Apollo Global Management, said the European Central Bank may raise interest rates in September amid uncertainty about second-round effects from sustained energy-cost increases. Slok stated he believes there is a high likelihood the ECB will hike rates in September. He made the comments during an interview at the ECB Forum on Central Banking in Sintra, Portugal.
