Philippines Sets Record Pay Hike for Manila Workers on Inflation

Workers in the Philippine capital will see their wages increase by 12%, with implementation beginning this month, according to Labor Secretary Francis Tolentino. The increase applies to workers in Manila. Tolentino announced the wage adjustment on Tuesday.
