India Plans to Add Strategic Fuel Reserves After Iran War Shock

India intends to develop strategic reserves of crude oil, liquefied petroleum gas, and liquefied natural gas with capacity equivalent to approximately one month of domestic consumption. The government has cited supply disruptions resulting from conflict in the Persian Gulf region as motivation for the initiative.
