US offers $10 million for info on group behind Signal and WhatsApp hacking spree

The U.S. State Department is offering a 10 million dollar reward for information leading to the identification of a group responsible for a hacking campaign targeting Signal and WhatsApp. U.S. officials have attributed the operation to two Russian state-sponsored groups, stating the activity has continued since at least March. The reward is being offered under the Rewards for Justice program.
