Saturday, July 11, 2026
The Union Pacific Big Boy steam locomotive, built in 1941, is traveling across the United States on a scheduled tour. The locomotive, one of the largest steam engines ever built, stopped at multiple locations to allow railroad enthusiasts to view it. Union Pacific began operating the Big Boy on excursion routes in 2019 after restoring it to operational condition.
