Italian-Americans Blast Mamdani After Excluded from Mayor's Map of NYC Immigrant Neighborhoods

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani's administration published a map of immigrant neighborhoods that did not include Little Italy. Italian American organizations and residents objected to the exclusion. The map was released by Mamdani's office in 2026.
