Former top cop warns of loophole exploited by illicit Chinese vape companies 'targeting our youth'

A former law enforcement official stated that Chinese organized crime groups are replacing nicotine with 6-methyl nicotine in flavored disposable vapes to circumvent FDA oversight. The FDA has not approved 6-methyl nicotine for commercial use. The substitution allows these products to technically comply with nicotine restrictions while delivering similar effects to conventional nicotine vapes.
