Rhode Island Jail Operator Files Bankruptcy to Cut Bond Debt

Central Falls Detention Facility Corp., which operates a jail housing federal detainees including individuals arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, filed for bankruptcy. The facility stated it cannot afford payments on more than 167 million dollars in bond debt.
