Graham Platner makes it official in Maine, submitting paperwork to leave Senate race

Graham Platner submitted withdrawal paperwork to exit Maine's U.S. Senate race on the Democratic ticket. Platner stated in his notice that "people are desperate for change" and cited this as the reason voters nominated him. Maine Democrats must select a replacement nominee by July 27.
