Disable auto-play and infinite scroll or risk massive fines, EU tells Meta

The European Union indicated that Meta may be required to disable auto-play and infinite scroll features on its platforms under the Digital Services Act. The DSA establishes obligations for large online platforms regarding user protections and content moderation. Meta has not announced changes to these features in response to EU communications.
