Europe Must Increase Space Autonomy: ESA's Aschbacher

Josef Aschbacher, Director General of the European Space Agency, told Bloomberg that Europe needs to increase its space autonomy. Aschbacher cited Europe's position relative to the United States in developing a space economy, noting SpaceX's initial public offering in June.
