Ziemba: Alternates Pipelines as Hormuz Pressure Remains

Rachel Ziemba, founder of Ziemba Insights, said in an interview on Bloomberg's Horizons Middle East and Africa program that alternative pipeline routes are likely to receive increased investment amid ongoing U.S.-Iran tensions near the Strait of Hormuz. The Strait of Hormuz remains a critical chokepoint for global oil transport, with approximately one-third of seaborne petroleum passing through the waterway. Ziemba did not specify which alternative routes or timeframes she expected to see developed.
