TikTok’s For You page needs to change, says the EU

The European Commission said Friday that TikTok violated EU online platform rules by using a recommendation algorithm that creates repeated exposure to certain content categories. The Commission alleged the algorithm can expose users repeatedly to content related to sadness, isolation, or body image.
