Herzog to Choose Between Eisenkot, Netanyahu on Sunday

President Isaac Herzog said he would decide Sunday which candidate would receive the mandate to form a governing coalition following Israel's election. Gadi Eisenkot secured recommendations from 67 members of the 120-seat Knesset, while Benjamin Netanyahu secured 46 recommendations, according to Bloomberg. The candidate selected would have the first opportunity to assemble a government.
