Colombia Indicts FARC Leaders for Crimes Against Children Including Rape, Torture, Forced Abortions

Colombia's Special Jurisdiction for Peace court on Wednesday called upon former FARC members to recognize their role in crimes against children, including the forced recruitment of 18,677 boys and girls between 1971 and 2016. The court also cited allegations of rape, torture, and forced abortions. The charges were brought as part of Colombia's transitional justice process for resolving conflicts from the armed conflict.
