Thursday, November 5, 2026
Vickrum Digwa, convicted of killing Henry Nowak, had his minimum sentence increased to 25 years by the Court of Appeal. The judges determined his original term was unduly lenient and rejected his request to reduce the sentence. Digwa is now required to serve at least 25 years before becoming eligible for parole consideration.
