Nintendo says it’s not planning another Switch 2 price hike

Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa said during an earnings call that the company is "not considering additional changes" to the Switch 2's price, according to Reuters. The Switch 2 received a $50 price increase earlier in 2026, raising its starting price to $499. The company reported that Switch 2 sales declined 37.4 percent in its latest earnings report.
