NextDC shares surge 43% after Goodman, Digital Realty stake purchases

NextDC shares rose 43% on Thursday after Goodman Group and Digital Realty announced they each sought to acquire up to a 9.9% stake in the data center operator. Goodman Group is an Australian property group, and Digital Realty is a U.S.-based real estate investment trust focused on data centers. The two companies did not announce a merger proposal or takeover bid.
