Humanoid robots controlled by surgeons did world-first operation on live pigs

Surgeons in South Korea used humanoid robots to perform surgical procedures on live pigs in what researchers described as a first-of-its-kind preclinical trial. The trial was designed to test the feasibility of using humanoid robots controlled by surgeons for surgical applications. The robots were operated remotely by human surgeons during the procedures.
