Miami Heat unveil 'enhanced' Dwyane Wade statue after original sculpture went viral for wrong reasons

The Miami Heat unveiled a redesigned statue of Dwyane Wade at Miami-Dade County on March 2, 2026. The Heat commissioned a new sculptor to create the replacement, which was unveiled after the team determined the original did not adequately represent Wade's legacy with the franchise.
