Starbucks Foot Traffic Outpaces the Competition, Says Hottovy

R.J. Hottovy, head of analytical research at Starbucks, said foot traffic at the chain is outpacing competitors and that customers believe they can obtain drinks quickly. US comparable sales rose 7.7% in the fiscal quarter, and earnings reached 80 cents per share, exceeding analyst estimates, according to Bloomberg.
