Sen. Lisa Murkowski endorsed Democratic gubernatorial candidate Jonathan Kreiss-Tompkins in Alaska's governor's race, according to Alaska Public Media. Murkowski said Kreiss-Tompkins "understands that governing requires listening to people with different perspectives and finding common ground to solve the problems all of us face." Trump-backed Republican candidate Bernadette Wilson responded by criticizing Murkowski's endorsement and accusing the two of sharing liberal economic policies.
