TikTok is going after Yelp and Google Maps with an in-app restaurant guide

TikTok launched Must Eat, an in-app restaurant guide feature announced Wednesday, according to The Verge. The feature is built on 40 million posts, reviews, and comments about dining already on the platform and uses video content, The Verge reported. TechCrunch reported the move puts TikTok in direct competition with platforms like Yelp and Google.
