Amazon’s new Echo Studio speaker has a camera

Amazon announced a new Echo Studio speaker with a built-in camera designed for room monitoring, showing content to Alexa, and future video calling integration with Fire TV devices. The announcement was part of a series of product launches throughout October 2026, rather than Amazon's traditional single fall hardware event. Other devices announced during the month included new Fire TV devices, Kindles, an Alexa Tablet Pro 12, Ring's first smart lock, hardware from AI-wearable startup Bee, and Blink 4K cameras.
