Mortgage rates fell for the second straight week, but more borrowers still sought savings in riskier loans

Mortgage rates declined for the second consecutive week. Despite the rate decrease, overall demand for mortgages remained relatively flat. The share of borrowers seeking adjustable-rate mortgages and other non-traditional loan products increased during the same period.
