Sandoz Warns EU May Scrap Antibiotic Protection, Risking Plant

Sandoz Group said the European Medicines Agency is proposing to remove amoxicillin from its list of critical medicines. The company operates the last European factory that manufactures the antibiotic from its raw ingredients. Sandoz did not specify a timeline for when the EMA might make a final decision on the proposal.
